- One of the best restaurants in the city.
- All in all, it was an enjoyable experience and one we would recommend.

- Our dining experience at Characters was very positive.
- I will always compare fine dining restaurants to Jack's Grill and so far, I still prefer Jack's (the food, wine, service, ambience, and whole experience is well worth the money).
- I was disappointed in what has been one of my favorite restaurants in Edmonton.

- We were not impressed with the french fries and four chips instead of quality rolls/bread and fresh or flavored butter.
- The bread service consisted of hand mad potato chips and french fries with a black bean aolie and it was wonderful.
- The vegetables could have been cooked more as the sweet and regular potatoes were on the crunchy side with no taste....We were expecting the wine to be served in a proper burgundy/pinot noir glass....Our waiter did come up with a better quality glass suitable for a merlot or shiraz.
