  • Two hard-to-please New Yorkers enjoyed a superb dining experience last week after selecting the five-course dinners, one with a wine tasting (four wines).
  • Comparable to some of the top restaurants in the Bay area or LA.

  • Across from the Hyatt Hotel, tucked into the back of a shopping center, is Le Bistro, a little gem of a restaurant....This is about as close to a real French restaurant as you will find in Tahoe.

  • The artistic gourmet presentations, unique ingredients tasted and wonderful explanations about what was served were excellent.
  • Another great dinner at Le Bistro tonight.

  • Excellent food in the tradition of a michelin 3 star in France.
  • Good oysters are hard to find in Tahoe, but these were excellent....Being in an asparagus mood, I also had fresh asparagus vinaigrette as my salad....Friends had medallions of lamb and osso bucco and enjoyed these dishes....The desert is a plate of five small desserts.

  • The owner was the renowned chef of the legendary Le Chiminee in Kings Beach back in the 80s
  • The food was just Devine and the service couldent have been better.
