This place doesn’t try to break new culinary ground but succeeds at placing well-prepared, generously sized, and relatively healthful dishes on the table. For starters, try the creamy hummus or crisp fried calamari; then move on to pasta, such as Berries’ tasty pumpkin ravioli, or if you’re feeling carnivorous, the skirt steak ($19), which comes smothered in blue cheese and is accompanied by potatoes and grilled asparagus. Only qualm: The $10 goat cheese wrap undoubtedly appealed to the taste buds but comprised mostly lettuce.
